In accordance with the guidelines issued by the UGC and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the college has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee to ensure a safe, secure, and friendly environment for all students. The committee is committed to preventing and addressing any incidents of ragging on campus or in hostels.
Definition of Ragging
As per UGC Regulations, ragging includes any act by which a senior student mentally or physically harms or abuses a junior student, either directly or indirectly. This includes:
- Verbal or physical abuse
- Forcing students to perform humiliating acts
- Creating a hostile environment through bullying or intimidation
- Cyber ragging or online harassment
Ragging is a punishable offense. Zero tolerance policy is adopted.

- Regular awareness programs and orientation sessions
- Anti-ragging undertakings from students and parents
- CCTV surveillance in sensitive areas
- Surprise checks in hostels and common areas
- 24×7 helpline numbers for support
